On Sunday night June 7, 2020 units from Taneytown, Harney, Littlestown, Emmitsburg, Union Bridge were alerted for a reported house fire on Colbert St in Taneytown. A large column of smoke could be seen from several miles away and a RIT was requested by EMS 11. First arriving units found heavy fire showing from the Alpha side of the the two-story single family house.

The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
